Waringstown Cricket Club is pleased to announce that it has been awarded £5,000 through the Goodyear Community Fund 2026, administered by the Community Foundation for Northern Ireland.
The funding will support the delivery of a 12-month community cricket programme offering free and inclusive sessions for children, young people and adults in Waringstown.
This initiative aims to:
- Increase participation in sport
- Promote physical and mental wellbeing
- Strengthen community engagement
- Provide accessible opportunities regardless of financial circumstances
The club is extremely grateful to the Goodyear Community Fund for recognising the value of grassroots sport and investing in our local community.
