Waringstown Cricket Club is delighted to announce the signing of South African all-rounder Dayyaan Galiem as our club professional for the 2026 season.
Dayyaan, 29, hails from Cape Town, South Africa and brings with him a wealth of top-level experience, having represented South Africa at international level and played extensively on the domestic circuit for sides including Western Province, Cape Cobras, Titans and the Paarl Royals
An exciting and versatile cricketer, Galiem is known for his ability to change a game with both bat and ball. He was part of the South Africa Under-19 setup early in his career and went on to make his One Day International debut for South Africa in 2022 against India, underlining his pedigree at the highest level.
Over recent seasons, Dayyaan has been a consistent performer in South African domestic cricket, contributing valuable runs in the middle order while leading attacks with the new ball. His experience, professionalism, and match-winning ability will be a huge asset to our club as we look ahead to the 2026 campaign.
